All About The Tie Gallery

The Tie Gallery opened for business in August 2002, by Shirley Edwards, an artist, who was born and still lives in East London. Shirley realised her `God given’ talent at a young age and won prizes at school and art competitions. Shirley started designing neckties for her  boyfriend at the time, who received compliments from friends and colleagues asking where they could buy them. Her ties were also featured in a national newspaper and a fashion magazine. As a result, The Tie Gallery received their first commission to design neckties from a business owner based in the City.

Three years after starting the business, Shirley became a Christian.  You can read her personal testimony at www.newchristian.org.uk/shirley.html.
